MRG! True Class & a Long Way Above The Rest!

Hi All

Took My S40 to MRG today they where good enough to do a few bits for me, sort out some Volvo Alarm problems I had been having, I had also had a few other issues with the car which i had not been able to locate? Simon form MRG drove the length of the car park and drove it on the ramp and found the problem before i had even had a chance to say a word!

The Hole Garage shop floor is laid out incredibly well it was all very clean and tidy & had some very impressive equipment and tools, All the staff where very polite, But I think they stole the Receptionist of the cover of Vogue or Estee Lauder she was hot

I Meet Ashok there as well! Thanks very much for the lunch as well Ashok! My shout next time and thanks for the passenger ride in your car, All I can say is amazing!

Again thanks to all at MRG for all your help!

These guys do not call them self's Specialists! You know I once used to rave on about RT Mechanic's Volvo Specialist's how good where! and how good their work was! I was Wrong!

Having now seen this set up!

I have to say! having seen both in full swing as well! They make RT Mechanic's look silly with out even trying! The knowledge and experience between them is staggering all the team there work together, Very fluently and efficient!

If any of Russ's friends & customers are reading this? they should go and tell him to remove the word Specialist from the name and tell him to drive down there and see how it should be done!

I still can't believe I banged on about how good i thought RT's used to be! and these guys where there all along! And after seeing their prices as well If I had spent 11k with them it would have gone a dam sight further as well and all been genuine Volvo parts too!

Lesson learn't

I have been to MRG twice now ..... first time was about two years ago when I had a Heico tuned S70 T5 . Had tracking done on it .... and a once over to see if anything else needed doing .

Agreed though ........... MRG in my opinion ( and I have been to a few garages ) are one of the best if not the best for Volvo mechanical work and investigation work .

Simon Chiu the service manager is far and beyond a real gent ..... nothing seems to be a problem .

And no I have no connection with the company ........ but when I find good Volvo services it feels so refreshing .

I recently drove from North Northumberland to go to MRG and the trackday I must say a very good outfit.

I was speaking to their master tech at some length about the 4 wheel alignment equipment whilst getting the work done, it was a very refreshing experience.

It's a 1000 mile round trip for me but I will be doing it every year that I am able.
