1989 Volvo GLT Manual 5 Speed , is still available for sale , due to another time and listing fee waster on ebay , this is the car that caused a stir a few weeks ago over the price is was being sold for , check out forum (Bay of Evil) i took an offer of 559 for it from a buyer just 8 miles from were i live , four weeks later , still no sign , just excusses why he can't get over to me , the car is now listed on car and classic for 750 offers invited , i will take 500 for a quick sale , there is 11 months MOT , and it's a good solid car ,99% rust free , needs a few jobs sorting , rare colour as well , drives great , tourist and diplomat model ,3 previous owners ,some history , full spec 155 k ,you can call me on 07874 021008 ,,, Andy , paste or click link below for pics

Hi There , i am around in the mornings next week , as I’m on shifts , viewing is no problem ,just give us a call on 07874 021008, the car failed the MOT on 3 items which have been done , there were also 10 other advisories , most very trivial , the back box and axel section of exhaust will need replacing at some point in the next year ( this is the biggest job) , one of the front discs has score lines , but the brakes are awesome , the rest are things like dull rear lenses , a small light rust line sill to floor ,front wheel bearing slight play , adjustable , front lights are still continental from its delivery in Germany 1989, one is dulled , but tape over the lense still allows a pass as beams are excellent, also a bumper trim is missing , all in all , it's a good solid car that drives great , i have spent over 400 pounds on it now since June , 500pounds will give someone a cheap years motoring in a good solid car , many thanks for your interest ,,, Kind regards ,,,Andy

Hi , Just seen the ebay ad , tourist & Diplomat , i'm not sure about this 240 having special running gear , all i know from the the Glove box book (blue Velvet and gold edges ), it's a T & D car , as it was delivered to a RAF sargent in Germany when new , the car was then shipped to England in 1990 , same owner at RAF Lynham , this was a 10 year ownership , i always thought T & D was Volvos way of shipping a car to any worldwide address , to me it looks like a normal 2.3 lump , runs very well and quiet , and thers no body rust, thats about it ,,, many thanks ,,,, kind Regards ,,Andy
