Default Rear View Camera

Anyone think this has the remotest chance of workinghttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/REAR-...fAudioQ5fVideo

Very scan on screen instruction that don't seem to tie up all the loose ends.

Anyone ever fitted anything similar and got it working?

There is a "How-To" regarding rear cameras by ?Bestof?, loads of info in there, particularly the selection of the correct type of camera (PAL, NTSC) which should answer most if not all of your questions.

I will go and track it down now.......

Is there anyway to make this a sticky?

Cam in the front? Where would you put that in? Where the tow hook cover is? I guess you could use an AB switch for activating the front cam.
Thanks,
Tom

How did you link it all into the genuine motorised display?

The displays Aussie XC90 is referring to look identical to Volvo but are not OEM and instead have direct input for multiple AV sources such as DVD player or a Rear Cam (which is autoswitching).

If he's running two cameras ( front and back) I guess he's running them via a relay into the one auto switching port on the screen so when you engage reverse gear the rear camera powers up, or if you press a button the front camera powers up with either camera then autoswitching the display.
