Low Coolant warning
Hi,
This is the 2nd day that this warning light came on at cold start. Checked the coolant level and it's between min and max. Anyone else had this warning come on only at cold start up. Will see if it happens again tom. morning. Also, the warning light doesn't stay on that long, less than a minute with the red ! mark on, then turns off.

Typically these use a magnet on a float that rises with the coolant and a reed switch on the underside of the header tank. If the float has a hole/leak in it, it will not rise... ie sink... and put the light on. I would keep an eye on the fluid level and check the switch. If its theswitch, and a check shows nothing you may end up having to replace the header tank. Have a look, take some pictures and report back. David
