Completely unintuitive position and the control works the wrong way round.
Noticed this when I test drive an A6 (which I later ordered). Very handy as the Audi LED tail lights are very very strong/bright/sharp on the eyes.

Perhaps as one does not have to use it very often?!

Luckily the Volvo rear lights are so bright that they are not required. (the cow smiley has no real relevance to this, other than to make you smile, but I have just discovered they exist and so I wanted to use it. How can you not like a dancing cow?)

On a more serious note, nearly every car I have owned has hidden the fog lights away so that when you need them it is simply not possible to easily locate them. Searching for fog lights, in foggy weather is not great, in fact it is downright dangerous. It is all well and good saying you should know where they are but as it is a button you may only press once a year, with no advance warning, then you need it to be an obvious and accessible button.

Default yes to another volvo

We are on our 7th Volvo now so definately YES we would have another one. However, we have only just changed after 14 years, so it could be a while before we change again. Do other people name them or are we mad?

Default Rosie

The one we have owned for 14 years is called Rosie and she is looking for a new home. The replacement or "other women" has not been named yet in respect of Rosie! See we are mad. Previous names have been Gilbert (340), Rastas (360), Emma (740 GLE) and Mad Max (850 estate). My husbands P1800 was not named as unfortunately redundancy meant it was not with us for many weeks.

You're not mad at all... Boats have names so why shouldn't cars.
I'll have to think of a name for mine now..

About to take delivery of my 5th Volvo, 2 x new S40 (1 being a T4), a used V70 2.5 which I put 140K on and a soon to be departed used XC90 D5 Exec which is just about to get 80K miles. I have driven quite a few other cars but just keep coming back to Volvo....oh and I've never named any of them...
