Did you renew only 1 calliper?
My policy on springs, suspension arms, shocks, brake pads, disks or callipers is to renew in pairs. If there’s one either side of the car they both get renewed at the same time.
Have never tried Padgett brake parts, usually use Mintex or Apec. Sometimes Volvo pads if there are bargains to be had on line, do not pay full dealer prices.
Check out Autodoc, had some good prices from them recently for shock absorbers and struts, Bilstien B4 £125 for a pair of rear shocks, £136 for a pair of front struts, again Bilstien B4
Only down side is the 8 days it takes to get to me from their wear-house in Germany. A bit of a pain if in a hurry.
