Default DTC's stored

HI everyone

I have the following DTC's stored in the ECC unit
211-driver side damper motor pos sensor, circuit open or shorted to gnd
231-vent damp mot pos sensor, circuit open or shorted to power
233-floor/defrost dam motor, circuit open or shorted to power
321-drivers side damper motor active too long
322-pass side damper motor active too long
323-vent damper motor active too long
414-drivers side temp sensor intake fan seized
417-pass side temp sensor intake fan seized

It seems to me most of the codes come up from the same problem (except maybe 414 and 417) or maybe not?

where do i start investigating?

Any help appreciated...

First thing to do is reset the codes and see which if any reappear.

I'd have another go at resetting them, follow the instructions carefully.

To reset you must:

Read all the codes until the first one is repeated.

Press the button for more than 5 seconds, 6 or 7 is good.

Pay attention as the ECU will flash the LED for about a second in response and you have to hit the button for another 6 or 7 seconds BEFORE the LED goes out.

It may take some practice to get this right.

ok,
cleared dtc's and i got 3 returned:231,233 and 323
i cleared them again (for practice) and 231 and 323 returned
(i wander what would happen if I kept on erasing them???)
I replaced the ceiling 2 months ago and vacuumed the fans so thats probably why corresponding codes are gone
So it seems it's vent damper motor issue
I also read somewhere about burning smell that is felt through the vents, which is the case in my car

So, what's your opinion on this?

cheers

I guess you need to look at the vent damper motor and it's feedback circuit.

May be worth checking the codes again after the car has been used to see if any more codes are logged.

The problem with the AC compressor cutting off after about 5 minutes may be due to a worn clutch.

Search for 'air gap' on this forum for the method of adjusting it.
