Not many "normal" Volvo drivers reach 5,000 - 6,000rpm on a daily basis. I certainly don't, in fact.. in the last month, I've probably hit 5,000rpm all of maybe once! I'm mainly interested in the power & torque from 1,500 - 4,500 rpm, as I suspect most people are?

If you never go above 4500 revs, buy a diesel.
Mind you then you would only use 3000 I suppose..... They are there to be used you know. ;) |
