Mission Acomplished 250,000 miles
Since i bought my V40 1.9d sport in 2014 with approx 170,000 on the clock, the only goal was to keep it as cheap reliable transport doing all needed servicing/repairs.
2016 saw it hit 200,000 and then 222,222 in late 2017 Well now i'm happy to report its hit the magic 250,000 mark. Its a little battered in places but everything is working (even one headlamp wiper) I've now decided to "upgrade" to a slightly newer V50 so once i get chance to give the V40 a good clean and remove car kit etc i will have a think about whether to keep it for daughter to learn to drive in or to sell it on. If we decide to sell it will be offered on here first along with the spares i have collected over the years as a s40 & v40 owner so watch this space. |
