Smile Seriously tempted...

I drove a 740 all the way to Kyrgyzstan for charity this time last year, so I know how good they are. I've been longing to climb back into one ever since.

I'm only down the road in Bracknell as well, so I'd like to come and take a look if possible.

Well I hope someone buys it. I get a warm feeling about this car and my instincts on cars are usually right

Hi Ian,I have sat back watching the lack of response on your lovely car and I have resisted buying it,A while ago I would have snatched your hand off but I have just got my 740GLE so can't really justify buying it.I have six cars at the moment.Only one is roadworthy and another the 740 will be soon. The other four are purely grazing down some fields.Minus the odd bit and some terminally tinwormed.

I still have to do all the work you have already done on yours but I expect I'll enjoy it.
I will continue watching and you never know I might just give in to temptation.

Regards Brian.

An interesting idea.

Similar to one I suggested on this very forum about 4 years ago in relation to a very low mileage, FSH immaculate V6 powered 760 saloon. As now it had to go as I had no space and couldnt afford to run it (I rarely got more than 18mpg!). There was no interest and I PX'd it at a dealers. I saw it on ebay a couple of years later looking very sad. Shame.

A builder/tradesman I believe - so little chance of them ending up here.

Likely to be trashed in 6 months.

Breaks my heart - but such is life and we must move on.

All good things come to an end so signing off now.

Best wishes to the those of the old guard that are still here.

Cheers
