Probably overdue for another clean then Mark. I was going to suggest it as one of the options but Luke beat me to it. Worth doing every few months until you know how dirty it gets. Fairly sure mine needs a clean out as well and i've not done it for a couple of years. That said mine is a bit more protected from gunge than the red block engines so not quite so urgent on mine to do it as regularly.

I might just do the pipe and elbow though as I don't have a spare o ring for the box of gunge And In all fairness when I replaced the box last year it wasn't that full of crud. The previous owner said he cleaned pcv yearly so that's probably why it wasn't that bad

On my breaker car which does have 100k more miles than mine the little elbow was blocked solid and the pipe into gunge box was just about closed over ! Strangely the idle was perfect !

Could simply have been because it was cold this morning. I've noticed mine tend to run a bit fast when it's colder, one is LH2.2 (no Lambda or cat) and the other is PGM-Fi with one cat and two Lambdas (one per bank) and the added extra of an AIT - Air Intake Temperature - sensor.

See how it goes from now on, if it's higher on cold mornings then settles later when it's warmer then it's probably completely normal.

I felt it was slightly warmer up here today. Must've been close to 10c this morning. Perhaps she was just feeling a bit off colour today

Is that it!? I got in the Fabia to move it off the drive earlier and it said 22 degrees, I've had the garden door open all day today and the house temperature said 17 degrees all day and still says it now.
