Volvo 740GL Automatic Limousine For Sale (Pictures Attached)
Hi all just thought i would let you know that we have a 1990 (G Reg) Black Volvo 740GL Automatic Limousine for sale £500 ono, we are funeral directors and this car was part of our fleet untill last year when we toke it off the road, M.O.T Failer (hense the price) and due to us changing our fleet we have no use for it any longer, however it would be a shame to send it to the scap yard when it could be a cracking car for somebody who has the time to bring it back to its former glory or needs parts for their own 740!
Body work is in very good condition and even after sitting on the drive for a year it fired up 1st time and drove like a dream (this is why we really dont want to see it go to the scrap heap). We toke it off the road in 2009 because the roof lining had started to become unstuck and we couldnt let it go out on funerals in this condition. If you would like any further information on this vehicle you can also email me; Thomasmorris_15@hotmail.co.uk or call 01792 771232 Many Thanks Tom Last edited by Tom2010; Sep 10th, 2010 at 14:57. |

The Limo was tested by Volvo and failed the Emissions test. They said its because the vehicle is so long its fitted with 2 emission pumps and the 2nd one has failed.

emissions pump (sometimes called the secondary air pump), The Secondary Air Pump helps to get the Catalytic converters up to operating temperature quicker, thus improving your MPG and enissions so removing or faulty it will most likely bring on a fault light and give you slightly worse MPG nd emissions
