460 rear bump stops

Hi,

Thought i'd post a 'want' since i'm a bit stuck on acquiring rear bump stops to my 460. It's a 1992 model so it has the newer type (fitted to the bodywork within the coil spring). I've tried Volvo but they said that they don't make these new anymore and all the local car parts stores don't offer ANY rear suspension parts to the 400 series (apart from shock absorbers); plus the 400 series is scarce at the wreckers as well (which is a good thing and a bad thing

).
If anyone has a pair (new or used) in good condition then i'd be interested, (in the attached picture it's no.8), not a problem either if they can't be pulled off the top spring plate.

Are you sure that these are obselete from Volvo? I ask, because my 1989 440 had new bump stops fitted two years ago at a dealer.

Hi,

From the info i gathered these aren't made by Volvo anymore. The local Volvo dealer said this and another Volvo parts store (that breaks Volvos as well) said that aftermarket ones are available but cost the same as the factory ones and it would take a month to have them shipped in from Sweden...
I was able to order rear stabiliser bars from Volvo (amongst things) so unfortunately i'm stuck on bump stops...
