Default Built in Sat nav

Evening all,

It seems that the built in satnav has stopped working (bugger).

If i press the button on the steering wheel nothing happen's,the screen doesn't pop up,nowt.

It let me eject the disc but it wouldn't take it back in (bugger).

The last time that i used it was some time ago however it seems to have given up now for whatever reason.

Has anyone else had this problem and/or what is the solution please??

Jason

Don't actually have built in sat nav but while running cables for a camera I happened to notice a fuse marked RTI in the fuse box on extreme RH side of dash ... only accessible with door open!

Might be worth a look ??

Ok.i've had a look at the fuse on the driver's side and that's fine and to make sure i put another one in,still nowt.

So,is there another fuse yep a 7.5 in the cargo compartment and that's fine.

Now then what's doing what well, the screen in the dash isn't coming up and the disc player won't take the disc however,it will eject it but,,,If i take the 7.5 fuse out for a couple of minute's and then put it back in then the disc player fire's up and take's the disc but that's it!!!.

I'm stuck and confused.com.

Has anyone any idea's/suggestions???

Jason

Do you have the TV option also ? if so try using that I know it wont receive a signal but it should drive the screen up. at lease it will prove it works.

Other than that as everything seems so interconnected on these cars may be disconnecting the battery for a while might reset all the sat-nav and
all the interconnections.
