Default d5 service

I have spoke with several Volvo dealers as my car needs a service. The car is an 07 d5 V70 and I am getting various prices. I always supply my own oil (mobil 1) and according to one dealer it would be a 7 year service. I would also get the free 1 year Volvo assistance and as I tow a caravan abroad its worth having. How can I tell if the car has had the full service without having to rely on what the dealer tells me? Apparently there are 3 different levels of service but I am told I get the Volvo assist only with the full service. Is this correct? turbo d.

If this is the 7th year since the date of first registration it will be a 7th year / 126000 mile ( which ever comes first ) service, which is a specific service with the items which need doing documented on a sheet enclosed with your service bill . There is nothing major on this service , your previous service should have been the major one with cambelt and aux. belt and their related tensioners and idler wheels .

You get the service promise package which includes free breakdown cover , wash , vacuum and software updates etc with EVERY Yearly Genuine volvo service . Hopefully you have already had the cambelt and are using 0w/30 A5/B5 spec oil !
