I attach a copy of an actual print out from a MAHA rolling road, one of the very few manufacturers of reference quality kit, most others do look somewhat similar. You may discern the difference between it and the sketches shown on the rica site. Let me make one more point, there are many, many disaffected customers of rica. Generally their work is not of the quality of Shark Performance or of MTE whom I represent, furthermore their representation here in the UK to this date has shown themselves to be downright dishonest. In Holland where they are based their reputation in terms of product and veracity is similar. You have also mentioned BSR who cannot hold a candle either to Shark or MTE in terms of their product. Respectfully if you make some attempt at a thorough search at www.t5d5.org or better still join that site and seek advice there you will find all you seek to make a better informed choice and it will not be rica..... or BSR Regards, Don.

Thank you Don.
But can you offer a solution where MTE software can be loaded at a garage with a rolling road with someone who knows what they are doing? I'm based in oxfordshire and don't fancy more than an hours drive really. Cheers Edit: I see the difference in the graphs now. Guess the RICA ones do look a little too perfect. But still can't see how they can claim these figures if they aren't realistic. I'll have a look on t5d5 tomorrow. Cheers Last edited by KevWak; Oct 18th, 2013 at 00:15. |

MTE D5 dyno run.
Here is another plot on a MAHA installation in MK that MAHA themselves use for demonstration purposes with potential UK customers.
It is a few years old and shows a run with an earlier D5 with MTE that had lower standard outputs than yours. I will pm you tomorrow with some thoughts on your wanting to get a post installation dyno plot. Don.

there are a few post on other forums about there Rica maps which if you Google it will display the links to them.
i totaly understand where you are coming from and the idea of doing it yourself can be daunting. please have a look at this thread. http://forums.t5d5.org/topic/19949-d...n/#entry223555 this was done by me to show the difference between the 2 maps and company,s. i am not trying to sell you any maps or have any issues with any tuners . but from what you see posted the results are pretty good. i was very happy with the service from both Mte and Shark performane. i stuck with Shark for the sole reason it was Uk based and they have a rolling road.hope that helps. mike
