Just took all the metal cover off by the LPG tank and the guage is saying the tank is empty??. Could the float be stuck. Is there any way I can trick the car into thinking the tank is full?

i think like you say, the guage is stuck, but that shoud not affect the delivery of gas to the engine as usually it is controlled by pressure, and if you say it has a full tank there should be pressure to operate as normal, allthough i am not sure wether the factory fit system's are the same, as for the tank fuel guage it is usually operated from the float via a magnet to the outer guage on the tank, and are prone to sticking

I have just removed the sender from the tank. I tryed putting some metal behind it as in a previous post I found it is magnetic, and nothing has happened. I have taken it apart and manualy turned it. The lpg is now working. Do volvo sell these senders? or are there any other alternatives I could use

You need to order a 0 - 95 ohm 4 hole tank sender.

Right just a quick one, ive gone to fit the new guage on the tank. (Its bloody cold out side!!) I have put the new one in place, having not connected the wires and its still reading empty. Gave up at this point as i thnk i have frost bite. Anyway i thought being magnetic it would give a reading even if the wires where not attached?
