Default Alarm microswitch & Door Switch

I have an alarm problem, it won't Arm. I think its two things the bonnet micro switch or/and rear door switch. The Interior lights wont come on if I open that door, also doors will still lock using the fob if I leave that door open.

Does the alarm take the door being closed from the actual door switch on the car body or is there a microswitch on the locks as well like the bonnet/boot ?

Also should I be able to lock the doors using the fob with the bonnet up ?

The Car is a 1997 V40 cdi.

Cheers
