I think the thread should be ended now to be fair, its just getting some sense but the rest are bringing up things that are just not constructive to either party.

Let them guys sort the problems themselves.

The idea behind keeping it open is that hopefully Greg will be able to report that the situation has been resolved. My understanding is that this isn't "dead", but Greg is choosing not to post about it at present.

There wouldn't be a problem with this thread if certain people would communicate in a civil manner. I think, if anything, we should take a harder line on people making off-topic posts in this thread, rather than closing it. I suppose we could close it until such a time as Greg is ready to post an update, but I'd like to think that we can avoid a riot without going that far...

cheers

James

Good point well made, i agree, that would be a better course of action.

I have been on these forums for a long time and all I have heard about RT is good, this is the first bad word ive heard.

All this my dogs uncles dad "said" does not cut it with me, however an engineers report would be useful.

BTW I have never used RT or ever spoken to them, like i say all ive heard is good

yes i agree but at the same time RT make themselves known on here so we should know what happens, at the end of the day people pay thier hard worked money on their cars so they need to know where to spend it!!!!

please point out where people are not pointing out anything constructive?????

There's an argument for saying that nothing much useful / constructive has been posted for several pages now...

I'm sure Greg will post some news if/when there is some.

cheers

James

Threads like this are bo11ocks they should be pulled as soon as there posted IMHO they achieve nothing other than back stabbing and animosity, every body sticking there two penny's worth in when the people it does concern should of dealt with it privately and through the right channels and this sure isn`t one of them.

You are wrong Blue8.This should be aired and brought to the attention of others. How would you feel if you where Greg and no one had warned you of RT's general lack of customer service.

I didn't see you sticking up for HLM and SWauto's when they where also exposed.

I have never met Greg, BUT, I have seen his car and the work that had been carried out by RTmechanics.I have also seen the receipts for work that has been carried out, but yet some of the parts had never been replaced.I am amazed at how many people would like this to disappear, I am even more amazed at how many people think that what Russ has done is acceptable. This should never of happened in the first place and I am damned sure if it was me I certainly wouldn't of given Russ a second chance to rectify the faults never mind the amount Greg gave him.

I think that the vast majority of people with any interest in the subject want to know the outcome and very few people want this to just "go away".

I also think that the best way to do that is to wait and see what Greg and/or Russ have to say. Greg chose to make this public but has not posted for a while which is his choice, hopefully things are moving on behind the scenes.

IMO the next comment should be either from Greg or a response from Russ and I'm getting heartily sick of all this pointless bickering.

Cheers,
John
