How many drains?
Admittedly I feel rather daft asking this, but here goes. How many drain holes/tubes are there for the sunroof on a MkII 960 saloon? The other day I got in mine and set off when something caught my eye, looking in the rear view mirror I saw water coming from the overhead interior light unit Simple as I am even I know that this shouldn't happen Anyway I bought 5 metres of curtain wire to try and clear the drain tubes, found and cleared the ones in the front corners[although they didn't seem particularly bad] but moving to the rear all I could see was the gap between headlining and roof that the sunroof goes into?So does it have any to the rear and if so where/how do I spot them? yes the sunroof was properly shut and I since run some sealer round the glass/edging as that seemed to not be sat tight against the glass in places.

That said, it sounds as if the water has come past the sunroof seal and somehow run backwards into the light. Might be worth investing in a tube of silicone grease, open the roof (tilt) ans smear some into the seal all the way around, leaving a fair bit of excess on there. Leave it to soak for half hour then wipe off the excess - don't rub, just wipe. Now close the roof and run it back so it's open at the front and treat the seal the same there. It's meant to be a service item once a year but gets forgotten, leaving the seal to dry out and become hard so it lets water past. The drains cope with most of it but park at the wrong angle and it can bypass them. If the silicone grease cures it, repeat at 6 monthly intervals twice then yearly afterwards.
