I had a BSR tune on a SAAB and it was very , very good. The power and torque were pretty close to those claimed when it was dynoed......unlike a lot of the claims I'd seen.

Hi,
You will require a new diff to get the power down properly over 300bhp. I doubt you will see 330bhp without water injection or a bigger intercooler due to the high IATs seen when raising boost on these. Saying that I'd go for the Stage 2 if you are changing the exhaust, even without the intercooler or WI, it will be quick |

Think I'll get a stage 2 mte after my respray. Don quoted 330hp anyhoo and I'd have a 3" turbo back and fmic from turbo reworked
Then eventually go custom I guess with LSD |

Jesus wept, what a nightmare... I was sure the car had 250 bhp but I was told by the dealer that it was 210 bhp.. I've had so much confusion over this as I've checked on Parkers. The car is advertised as a 2.5T..
If it does have 250 bhp, I might as well get an R.. Are you right Robbie??? 208 bhp?? Just noticed I put T5.. It's a 2.5T not a T5... many apologoies.. Why can't Volvo and others bring out 3 models? slow, medium, and fast. Last edited by TONY1978; Apr 28th, 2013 at 19:20. |

Unfortunately the 2.5T is different to the T5 and is 210 bhp as mentioned. You should still see useful gains out of it albeit not as much power as T5, should be able to remap straight to 250 bhp.
