That V5 description certainly matches up to the 2.5T engine on howmanyleft. Looks like there were 13 such cars sold in the UK.

So can we see the rear prop/diff setup?

Wow i knew they were rare but nobody seems to have any info on them . I wish my P3 was manual like yours Bob. Beautiful car you have too . Amazing on the road and comfort .

Any suggestion where the best place would be to advertise something rare like my motor ?

Thanks again for any further feedback 👍
I was after a D5 manual AWD, and gave up after being told they don't exist in P3, only P2. Apparently only P3 XC70s come with AWD and manual gearbox.

Just out of curiosity, does what badges are on the RHS of the boot lid, e.g. 2.5T with AWD underneath ?

Looking through the pricelists I can only see the D5 185 engine in 2009 being available as a manual AWD for the V70.
In 2010 the T10 205 D5 engine was introduced.
So I imagine that would be a very rare beast as well but having said that I have located one on Autotrader:

A car is only worth what a potential buyer is willing to pay. If your car is the genuine article and not victim of some spare "AWD" badges on the tailgate then you can only value it against what a standard 2.5T R-Design Man would be worth with a small premium for the AWD transmission (not the badge!)
and advertise it on a specialist forum such as here or VPCUK.

Does not say AWD but left me asure you it definitely is . Lovely sound from the 5 pot 20v too . Very cool car .
Waiting on a reply from a guy at a mail dealers with my vin number . Hopefully news tomorrow.

Thanks again for feedback

This would tie up with what I said earlier but 100% I'd expect to see AWD there too.. ... depending upon model year its either a 200 or 231 BHP engine. (BTW Can't believe there are only 13 left in the UK, as I have seen them (both types) on auto trader.) Assuming its RHD, and as it was not a model sold in the UK ( only the T6 and the XC were AWD) I'm left wondering in which market(S) were the AWD versions sold, in RHD form.

The simple answer would be someone has hoodwinked you into believing the car is AWD....and then the car neatly fits one of the model types sold in the UK
Sorry, if this remark causes offence, its not my intention. I'm looking for a solution to a conundrum and am considering every possibility.

Querry :- does the car have 4C suspension - comfort, sport advanced settings???

Cheers
Bob

Any updates to the mystery of the V70 2.5T AWD Manual R-Design?
