Default A great day....

Had a brilliant day today with Volvo Owners Scotland and VT at the Forth Bridge. A really good turnout with plenty of stunning cars complimented by the beautiful weather.

Unfortunately our time on the ferry slip was very limited due to the RNLI conducting exercises resulting in only a few pics being taken, we still enjoyed the day with lots of friendly banter, shortbread and curly wurlys being handed out, some leg pulling and a re-enactment of the Beatles 'Abbey Road' scene....random I know lol

Great to see VOC and VT member Pookie coming away with the 'Best VT Car' glassware....very much deserved with his stunning 850R.

A few pics:

What a day! I've never driven so far in one day for a Volvo meet, 477 miles most of it in convoy with other like minded enthusiasts.

Personally I could not get over the warmth of the welcome we received from the guys and gals of the VOS.

What a contrast to the welcome the VOC gave us at Wetherby, not good at all.

T'was a good day to meet up with old friends and more importantly to make new ones.

A wonderful day, thank you VOS.

Salut!

Pookie

Oh! and I won a lovely prize. :-)

Cheers, I was driving at tight wad speed. Did the whole trip on 14.4 gallons, boring I know. Cracking run and cracking meet, looking forward to the next one.
