I can see it. The left side you'd struggle to get a piece of paper between the black plastic and metal trim whereas on the right you can slide a business card in. It looks to me as though the trim was manufactured wrong. Id want it replaced.

At last someone else can see it, I'm not going mad,

Looked at 3 XC90's including ours and all had a similar issue to a more or lesser degree. Dealer is going to "look into it" and may need to take it all apart to investigate. Told them to investigate on their own car before ours though...

Its easier to notice if you look at the trim where it meets to switch housing, on the left photo there is a gap on the right photo the trim is touching the switch housing, needs a little adjustment.

The V90 doesnt have that trim part as the dash obviously isnt that tall, but what is the button far left for? - Mine has a blank there and the symbol is intriguing!

It opens the glovebox (electrically).

Eh?? The V90 and S90 have exactly the same trim piece around the volume button, in fact, the parts are the same!

I too can see it, as said left corner compressed against trim, right could slot business card in. I have to say its not something that would concern me. I would be more concwened about Volvo taking bits of dash apart and subsequent rattles or squeeks etc.

Yep, they will not be "practising" on ours, they can do that on their own, to see what the issue is.

Did you ever pursue this further? What was the outcome? I can report the same issue MY19 with walnut trim, blond interior.
