Axle shims
I have a 1969 122s and need to replace the rear wheel bearings due to excessive play. The mechanic that is doing the job for me has asked (in addition to new wheel bearings) that I obtain a selection of shims, so that he can do the job in one sitting rather than to faf about trying to find them when the axle is stripped.
Does anyone have any axle shims they can spare, I will of course return any shims that I do not require, I have tried to source them new however they appear to be only available second hand. Regards Giovanni |

That would be great, I managed to get some shimms but I wont know what I need until the axle is stripped so haveing a good selection would be a great help.
