C30 (2011) DRL Halogen disable?
So not had this one for too long 2.0 petrol 2011 with halogen bulbs and yes I now see the irritation of the headlights always being on even when '0'.
Googled a few things but they all seem to be for other or older Volvos. Just want to check if there is a code to disable the DRLs so none of the lights are on when at the off position? I'm assuming its a dealer request. Has anyone done this at a dealer and know how much it costs? Are they happy to do this? Also I know they brought it im around 2011 or thereabouts but is it an MOT failure if they dont come on at '0' for volvos that had it or as long as they work when switched on? Thanks for any help. |

It requires a chargeable Volvo software download.
I believe they are required by law on a February 2011 model but could be wrong. I also doubt you will find a dealer willing to do it even if not required by law.
