Default Locked Remote Fob in car - V40

Taken a V40 for an extended test drive and have somehow managed to lock the remote fob inside the car (still in it's slot).

Id been sat in the front, but got out and went and sat in the back, checking how much room there was etc.

I leaned over and put the key in the slot, pushed the start button (to turn the electrics on).

Opened the rear door, go out. Closed the door. The car locks it's self and the mirrors fold in. All doors and boot are locked but the remote fob is still in the car and the dash is still illuminated??? Anything I can do or can only the spare fob (at the dealer) save me?

What a bloody stupid design!! Why lock the doors when the key is IN. Annoyed cause it's also locked my House keys and S60 keys... had to Call my Girlfriend to let me back into the house!!!

Seems you need to hold down the unlock button on the spare remote to get it unlock the car in this scenario.

Car didn't respond when simply pressing the button, you had to hold it down.

Returned the car to the dealer now.

We like it, despite the above happening.
