Default Has anyone tried installing a Apple Carplay unit?

Hello I wondered if anyone had tried installing an Apple Carplay/Android Auto For 7″ Sensus/Sensus Connect P3 Cars in their car?

This one specifically:

https://www.swedesolutions.com/produ...nnect-p3-cars/

I've got a 2014 V70. I'm loving having a built in sat nav and hands free phone. The map is still the 2018 version but one weekend soon I'll update it to the latest 2020 version. There aren't going to be any updates after that and I'm planning on keeping the car for a long time so I was thinking about a future upgrade to the sat nav and I came across this from Swede solutions.

It's right up my street but I'm interested in other people's experience of it. In my 2004 XC70 I bought one of Marek's bluetooth adaptions so I could connect my phone and listen to music. So I'm very much a fan of upgrading the older cars technology to keep them current.

Yes, I did in my old P3.
I used an Integrated Automotive one, along with their touchscreen conversion.
Worked very well, and I could also hook up a rear view camera.

Thanks I'll give them a look. How did you find the installation?

I have a generic screen using the Aux that Bluetooth's to my iPhone, sitting on a Brodit holder. Works absolutely fine.
