Default Flat tyre

Had a flat tyre or very soft only 10 in instead of 33, got it pumped up and, touch wood, seems okay. Was out yesterday on a 60 mile round trip and no problem, seems to have gone down over night.

My problem is my tms didn’t pick it up, was only because I saw it! Rang the garage and they were not sure why but to take it in and they will test it if I want, said I would monitor the tyre a bit, could have been a blip.

Anyone else noticed this, in the XC60 it dinged when the tyre pressure was down by 3?

The tpms works on the ABS system so you could come out to a flat in the morning but until you move the ABS system won't pick it up

Drove it for over a mile, was when I stopped at the shop I noticed it, then drove to the garage to get it inflated.

When I spoke to service they were a bit perplexed it hadn’t shown up, to let some air out of the other side tyre, enough to set off the alarm and see what happened, if it didn’t notice it to bring the car in as it was warranty work.

Just wondered how long you have to drive before it registers, lad has a bmw 3 series and it dings after around 20 yards if his tyre is low, the XC60 was the same.
