Default D5 alternator freewheel pulley

Quick question

Is it a normal or reverse thread - got the Alternator off, but can't get the pulley to shift using the proper tool. Just don't want to apply too much violence in the wrong direction!

Thanks all, it’s all back together now and very quiet (ignoring the diesel racket!). I hadn’t realised how much noise it was making from the aux belt. I’d already swapped out the power steering pump as that was running rough.

Alternator pulley was still working but very rough and the tensioner pulley had a slight rough spot. The belt was in good condition and aftermarket which makes me think that it was changed at around the time of the timing belt (2011 ish), but the pulleys hadn’t been done.

Suspension bushes next......
