meddyliol Senior Member Last Online: Nov 26th, 2024 15:44 Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: Whitehaven, Cumbria	V50 fuel line Have had a diesel fuel leak for a number of months. Took it to a garage in Workington yesterday to see if they could fix it. Picked the car up this morning and he said he had replaced the existing metal lines with hose (didn't specify what type of hose), as the metal pipes were rotten? He said to replace the existing pipe with 'proper' Volvo pipe would cost a lot of money. He charged £140 which I thought was reasonable. However, is it normal to replace metal with some type of hose?
