volvo 144 73 relay

Hi All,

My battery is running flat when I leave my 1973 144 saloon parked up. When it's off, you can switch the headlights on using the beam switch. Yeh its a messed up Swede.

Other symptoms are: headlights stay on while it's running ('hey its a Volvo they do that!' - I hear you say). Alas being a 73 its not meant to - its a new thing linked to the broken realy.

I suspect its a relay. Any tips or cheap relays out there?

Check continuity/voltage and earth(s). make sure connections aren't corroded . If it is the relay you'll have no trouble finding one on ebay.
