Default D5 engine mount & effect on other things

Hi all, I've discovered that my front engine mount isn't holding vacuum so I'm going to order a new one.
I've got some questions regarding its affect on other systems;
Will it affect the turbo? As it also has a vacuum element to it? If it does, will that improve the slight pause in pulling from junctions etc (or is the delay just really due to the TF gearbox?)?
I'm still suffering from aux belt 'chirp' despite changing everything in that system for OEM parts. I've noticed that the aux tensioner vibrates whilst the old one didn't. I've had another replacement tensioner and it does the same. I'm now wondering if excess engine vibrations are being passed to the tensioner and that's what's causing the chirping...

Same problem a few years ago. What I did was source good genuine mounts from a breaker after seeing the car run they where fine .Also did the top engine mount as once more stress is applied to something it will wear quicker. It made a huge difference .

When you say 'same problem' do you mean chirping belt and vibrating tensioner?

Did everything include a new alternator clutch pulley?

Yup it did, a genuine one. The refurb alternator also came with a new freewheel pulley. I've not driven it yet but I've blocked off the vacuum line to the front mount and I think there's less engine vibration at idle and perhaps less vibration at the aux tensioner but I may be imagining that.
New mount gets here on Friday and it looks a fairly quick job to change so fingers crossed. Ultimately it definitely needed a mount anyway so...

Well the mount hasn't affected the vibration in the tensioner or the belt noise. Looks like my next suspect is going to be the aircon compressor as I get a little improvement when I drip some oil down behind the pulley...
