R-Design Pro description

Ive just put a deposit down on, what I was told was, an approved used 2018 V90 D5 R design Pro. The original advert stated "active bending lights" and I had spoken with the dealer to check it had the Volvo on call with app, which I was told it had.

I've since paid the deposit and had the paperwork through, where the description now states its just a "R design" and no mention of active bending lights or volvo on call. Also has the 18" wheel.

Also looked through the images (as not local) and cannot see the Volvo on call buttons in the cabin above the mirror.
It has 360 camera, panoramic roof, blis and android auto. Also just over half the miles my current V90 has.

Would this be a deal breaker for anyone? Is Volvo on call useful and active bending lights worth waiting for?

I would not miss my bending headlights but VOC is nice to have and without it you most likely will not have the internet modem/Data Sim holder so no internet connectivity,, that would be a deal breaker for me.

Getting an item not as described is a deal breaker - because they did not hold their end of the contract, you are in your right and in honour, to negotiate or walk away from the deal. If you are not happy.
Volvo on Call is an important safety feature, not to mention other features most likely depending on it, like the previous poster mentioned.

There used to be a chap from a dealership who could provide spec list from reg plate / Vin.

Get the dealer or another dealer to provide this before signing for it.

If it's confirmed that the car is lower spec, personally I'd ask them to lower the price down to match standard R-Design trim. Or walk away from the deal. Resale value of R-Design is lower than R-Design Pro, you will be losing out from day 1.

Bending headlights aren't that exciting, however, wonder if it it will be missing high beam assist? I use that regularly and 99% of the time I'm not flashed by oncoming traffic so it must work well.

Woa, you will be losing not just Volvo on Call with App, but also heated steering wheel, heated windscreen, 20" alloys which are quite expensive, and powered driver seat controls. That's quite a lot! Totally different product.
