700 Bendix Front Calipers
Been mooching around in the garage and its attic and came across these.
They are a pair of Reconditioned Bendix twin pipe calipers that were fitted to various 700's over the years. The original rather rusty looking mounting brackets are also included. I bought them for around £160 the pair iirc for my 87 740 Turbo as i was forever fecked off with the old ones sticking on. Once these were fitted i actually lost 0.5 seconds off my 1/4 mile time as my old calipers were that sticky. These were on my 740 turbo for about 5 months and 3,000 miles before i had to scrap the shell due to the worst case of tin rot i've ever seen on a 700 series. They have sat in my garage now for several years just in case i'd ever buy another 700 again. I cut the flexis and left them in the calipers to protect the threads, the flexis undo fine. I will even include the set of pads pictured that were on the car for 3000miles. I now have no further use for them, but know that they would probably be a godsend for someone else with a sticky front end. £60 Posted the pair. |
