2007 Exec Fridge not working
Checked the temp inside the fridge tonight, started at 32C and after 1/2 hour of driving home it was only down to 30C which is probably the effect of the aircon in the cabin and not the fridge actually cooling itself.
The switch was in position 2 inside the fridge. Does anyone know where the fuse is or if I can check the operation by other means? Thanks. |

You shoud be able to hear the fan running. I know our's doesnt work because we can't. Never have worked out where the fuse is.

Resurrecting an old thread of mine....
I have checked the temp inside the fridge and it doesn't change when the switch is in position 1 or 2 (the fridge switch not the ignition). Can anyone tell me if it has it's own fuse or is it shared? TIA |

I found wiring diagrams here:
http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/volvo-wiring-diagrams/ I had a good look around the 2007 XC90 diagrams but I see no reference to the fridge. |

I have a 2004 Exec that has been in my family from new and had the same problem. The fix is as follows:-
Look at the fuse diagrams in the Owners handbook, open the tailgate, remove the access panel on the right, there is a small fuse panel at the bottom almost under the floor, you can only feel it not see it. Check that the fuses are in the correct slots (there is one that is empty from new). On mine the fuse was in the wrong slot from new and on putting it in the correct slot the fridge worked and has done so ever since. Hope this helps |
