Driver's door lock
My driver's door lock pin keeps popping immediately back up when I try and lock the car with the remote, and the driver's door doesn't lock. If I first lock and unlock the car with the key, and then lock with the remote the door will lock.
When the driver's door does lock the door pin never fully depresses so that the top of the pin is flush with the door trim.
The car is a 2008 S60 that I have had for 5 months. I bought from a main dealer and the deal included 12 months Volvo Selekt warranty. I suspect the only cure with be a new door lock actuator, I've read on this forum that this is a common problem. Assuming this is the problem, will it be covered under the warranty? Has anyone else experienced the same problem when under the Volvo Selekt warranty? I would like feedback before I take the car in to a main dealer.
