Service dipstick stuck in place
How do you remove the service dipstick on a 2016 XC70 D5?, it appears to be held in place by two arms/lugs.there must be a knack to it but I couldn't figure it out
Thanks |

firm steady pull in upward direction, found it easier with right hand using overhand grip.

I thought mine was stuck when I tried to use it, just to see what it looked like. Took a real powerful pull to get it out.
Then I've left it in place, since the electric measurement works in my car. |

There is a kit to fit a full sized dipstick available.
