  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Yes and you can be quite forceful with it too.
If everything is as it should be, it's designed to cope with greater forces than you can apply manually so if you can make the noise occur with your hands then an engine and gearbox with a collective weight of 180kg+ will make a noise too when coming on and off load.

I tried rocking the engine as much as I could and was not able to recreate the noise.

Any other things I should check?

Update on this.

I checked the fluid level again and it was very low, which is strange as it was ok previously.

Cannot see any leaks but will monitor the fluid level for changes.
