I can't make out if it has disk brakes on the front or twin leading but a wild guess would be 1977 bonneville american spec?
Mind you these new ones are looking so cool just like the old style ones.I was into bikes just didn't own any of importance.BSA B25ss goldstar trials.lovely old plodder with oil in frame to boot.
Regards Brian.

No where near... its a 2008! Disc front and back, its a case of 'some twins just never grow old' as my dad says, (he even has a picture frame with the cutout article hung on the wall in the hall) Twin 850cc i think.. Has none of the fuel injection stuff, just two CVK heated carbs (electronically heated) not too sure if its american spec or not..whats the difference?

Ah so it is a modern version.even so I think they did the right thing by reintroducing the old look complimented with modern equipment and better engineering. The first triumph bikes when first reinvented were no more than high speed modern looking racers.just like any other japc**p models.IMHO.

The early british market Bonnevilles were a bit feature less but the american spec ones had the cool two tone paint on the pearish shaped tank.higher handlebars.basically just more stylish.

Spent many a nite repairing mates bikes in sheds Lol.BSA's Nortons AJS etc.
I still have in bits and box's of a norton 250 Jubilee twin.Nortons attemp to beat the japanes with a high revving midrange twin. But alas it made your fingers go numb from the vibration. It failed of coarse.
Regards Brian.
