Never ever have the key in the ignition when you unplug a green or orange plug on a P2

You'll need to have it reset at a dealer or by someone with the appropriate equipment. A generic code reader won't do it I'm afraid.

The Autel (MD801 or EU702) will do this one. Mind did when I made the same mistake.
But if you trigger an SRS fault by disconnecting the underseat wiring harness........well that's an entirely different matter.

45 quid if you want to get one directly from China:

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2014-...634716734.html

You may have to pay VAT on import (though often not), for which the courier will probably add a fiver admin. charge, but that still makes it under £60 at today's exchange rate.

Edit: you may have to pay VAT on an item from Ebay, if it's coming from outside the EU (eg. Hong Kong, China, etc.), also. You might want to factor that into your calculations. And be aware that it is the importer's duty (ie. yours) to make sure the item is properly declared. But I've had several things from China, and it really seems to be pot-luck as to whether Customs takes a look at the label or not.
