Get a ratchet ring spanner, get a good one as a cheappie that rounds the nut will cost much more in the end.

King Dick I use.

I agree a ratchet ring spanner probably the best tool. I removed and refitted the turbo and exhaust manifold on my V70 D5 ( same as an S60) and found it difficult to loosen the nuts but eventually managed it using standard size ring spanners. I removed the exhaust system complete with down pipe/flexi rather than splitting it and pulled it out from the rear of the car. Its a horrible job if like me you only have ramps so theres not much space. When refitting I would have used new oil seals and gaskets but could not get hold of them so I re used the old ones and so far no oil leaks or rasping exhaust. When refitting leave the turbo slightly loose at the exhaust manifold until you have got the pipe returning oil to the sump fitted as otherwise you wont get it in.
