Try searching from your phone when bluetooth is on to see if you can see the cars bluetooth.

Des. . .
In order for the car's bluetooth to be found you have to set the bluetooth on the car to "discoverable". Because there's no bluetooth menu in the OP's car he can't make the car "discoverable".

There's no bluetooth menu on the car's settings because:

THERE'S NO BLUETOOTH ON THAT CAR!

UPDATE

By golly this £1.69 piece of Chinese tat off Ebay actually works!!!!!!

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/372062038883

CAVEATS:

1) It is working perfect over the speakers with the OH's Android phone and did so immediately.
2) I have not got it working yet with my Windows phone. The phone connects to it but I haven't yet got the satnav working over the speakers and need to do more fiddling.
3) Due to No 1 above the No 2 scenario will be something to do with Windows not the 'gadget' itself.
4) Whether it will work properly for phone-calls or cause delays in the conversation I do not know. It is not a function I will ever use.
