Question Central locking

Hi

Has anybody fitted central locking to a 140/160? I am thinking of using a 240 lock set and if anybody has done this, your experience would be useful.

Thanks

The 240 actuator in the driver's door cannot be used as it goes round the lock which has a larger barrel than the 164. All the other parts can be utilised and the driver's door could have either a modded rear o/s door mechanism or one of a lhd model fitted. A remote locking sytem (keyless entry) could then be used.

I fitted one of these to my 164 (that I sold and wished i never had) I also added an alarm so i could lock and unlock the car using a remote.

Easy to fit although there were a lot of wires to hide under the carpet
