Default Picked up my New XC90 today

Loving my XC90 already, picked up today and had an unveiling followed by the features set up and explained and VOC set up. Great service from the dealership and thoroughly enjoyed my drive home. Mainly motorway but got to try out the adaptive cruise control with the Pilot assist, wow!! Never had a more relaxing drive. It's such a brilliant system. Hand obviously on the wheel still but the tech was fab and made a mundane journey a lot of fun.

Couple of quick shots from when I got home:

When you say an "unveiling", did they actually put a drape over it, and slowly reveal it as you were there???? Is that a bit cheese-tastic?

The best car you've ever owned?

A 5-1/2 hour, 70-odd mile journey back in Jan - one of my first real drives in the S90 - really sold me on how relaxing Pilot Assist can make what would otherwise have been a nightmare of a trip

Went with a friend a couple of weeks ago to pick up a Tesla Model-X, and they actually did this

Thing was, it wasn't actually either of ours, which we did explain to them a number of times. My mate was picking it up for a business contact, and I was just along for the ride

If I was the dealer, I don't think I'd be able to resist finding a Ford Escort and slowly revealing it just to get the reaction

5-1/2 hours to do 70 miles?
Was the Pilot Assist taking it easy to the point that it was being quite cautious?

I see you have the Flame Birch trim, I pick mine up on Friday and also have the Birch. Looks really nice but I have the blond/charcoal interior which sets it off really well. I agree the lane assist and driver assist package is really clever as I have it on my V90 I have at the moment. You have a really nice car .
