Exclamation Hand wash only!!!

DO NOT TAKE IT THROUGH A CAR WASH!!! Hand wash only, give the roof some extra protection using a quality cleaner & protector (Autoglymn do a good kit). Take it through the car wash and you'll get wet and scratch the car!

I assume it's a hard-top convertible though? How would you get wet?

I knew that you had to be careful with the soft-top, but is the hard-top really just as delicate and leaky? My car is a hard-top 2007 C70.

The soft tops on most if not all C70 cars are being badly neglected now . they are green with moss , have bird dropping stains and are un treated therefore absorbing water when it rains .
The last problem is probably the worst as the fabric gets saturated and the dampness gets into the inner lining causing white stains on the headlining .
when you pour water on the fabric roof it should run off in beads .
The roof when saturated in water adds a considerable amount of weight to the car!

NO to car wash or the muppets at the supermarkets they will both bugger up the surface, do it your self and do it right. For the CC a good wax

Clan is not far off, and i think he sees a fair few!

For the rag top i use Fabsil, it beads!
