My dealer, TMS Coventry, are telling me that delivery is scheduled for mid-February '14. So we've told them we'll aim for 1st March and pick up the new plate (although, as it happens our personalised plate on retention is J14 DPB, so it hardly matters).
Our XC90 sold on eBay following a 10 day auction. 2006/06 pre-face lift model with 185bhp. 115,000 miles. Fetched £9,200 - a pleasant surprise then! I have never found it easier to sell a car. Can I ask, do the XC60s with active bending headlamps also come with auto high/low beam as standard....or is this an optional extra. Oh, and finally, my research has shown that the new D4 181bhp engine comes with twin turbo rather than the single turbo of the older models (other than the 215bhp D5). Twin turbo guys! 8.0secs 0-60mph and 130mph top speed (on unrestricted autobahns only). David |

Active high beam assist is part of the driver support package.

"Congestion begins at Lothianburn" welcomes me every morning as I travel down the A68 towards the bypass - and that's good days. Gilmerton on bad days. Fortunately, I whizz off at Sherrifhall towards Little France.
But always better than the Blackwall Tnl from my days working at Canary Wharf. David |
