Default p1800 overdrive solenoid

I am doing a complete restoration of a american 1966(1965) p1800
In my documentation and pictures I cannot find where the overdrive solenoid switch mounts. Where does it mount? Anyone with pictures??

Its the right hand steering column stalk, was on the dash up to the end of '64, then moved to the column.

Cool Overdrive solenoid

I am rebuilding a stock wiring harness from a really badly done, multiple additions. Trying to find where all the wires, switches ad relays go

I was looking for it in the wrong place. If the solenoid mounts on the steering column mast then the wires that go to the transmission go thru the about 3/4" hole in the firewall that is to the right of the heater box ( as you look toward the front of the car) or thru one of the larger holes (about 1 1/4") to the left of the heater box ( the a/c lines go thru)????

the overdrive wiring goesthrough the same hole in the bulkhead as the main wiring loom but thats on a rhd english car
