I am doing a complete restoration of a american 1966(1965) p1800
In my documentation and pictures I cannot find where the overdrive solenoid switch mounts. Where does it mount? Anyone with pictures?? |

Its the right hand steering column stalk, was on the dash up to the end of '64, then moved to the column.

Overdrive solenoid
I am rebuilding a stock wiring harness from a really badly done, multiple additions. Trying to find where all the wires, switches ad relays go
I was looking for it in the wrong place. If the solenoid mounts on the steering column mast then the wires that go to the transmission go thru the about 3/4" hole in the firewall that is to the right of the heater box ( as you look toward the front of the car) or thru one of the larger holes (about 1 1/4") to the left of the heater box ( the a/c lines go thru)???? |
