Stuart, will you be along at the Ace Cafe on Tuesday? I'll have my Amazon there, so you're very welcome to take some pics

Sorry to hear that - I'd better wish you Happy New Year now then
In the meantime, here's a few pics that I have already - hope they're of use: Starting from the left - map light (see 2nd pic for detail), then after the heater controls, first is the fan, then the fag lighter, then the choke. Not visible the other side of the steering column are the ignition switch, then the wipers & lights - but can't remember off the top of my head which way round the lights & wipers are though! (ignore the red light on the plinth - that's for the towbar) If you want any under dash pics, let me know However, I'm not sure what the differences are between mine & your car, due to the column mounted ignition. I'll have a look for my factory parts book and see if that has anything useful in it.

Paul, I see from your pictures that your heater for the lower part which should flow through to the back seats is blowing straight through the gearbox tunnel and straight out the car!!
Also the rubber gaiter is not on correctly and if your engine starts to breath heavy it has a tendancy to be sucked through the gearbox tunnel and fill the car with fumes.

Hi Dean,
You're right, hadn't noticed that! However these are quite old pics (think it says 52K on the odometer - now on about 65K), taken when I was looking into stereo / speaker locations. Can't remember why the ducting etc were like that (I'd probably been messing about with the floor mats or the gaiter itself) but all would have been correctly fitted soon afterwards, as it is all ok now & I haven't touched it for ages .

hi, just wonderign what size that volvo blanking plate is? i am wondering if the prevoius owner of mine cut the dash to fit the radio. as far as speaker locations, i have fitted a custopm box in the rear what sits on the parcel shelf, angled upwards so that the back edge sits just beneath the window and the front edge sits flush with the back of the back seat, put a couple of 6x9s in there, then fitted a couple of splits in trhe front, 6" woofers in small boxes hidded up under the dash pointing down, and the tweeters mounted in their original black plastic casings sitting inconspicuously on the black steel sindscreen trim and found the sound of this setup to be fantastic, whilst the appearance remains virtually stock (the rear shelf can be covered completely with carpet/vinyl and it will look like a normal parcel shelf) and i didnt need to make any new holes in the car.
