Picking up my new MY19 XC90 R Design on Saturday. Any tips/tricks or things to look out for?

Also, is the car supplied with 2 keys or 1 key and a tag which the manual seems to suggest? I can foresee “key wars” with my better half is there’s just one!

Thanks in advance

You get two keys, note sure about the R design but I also got a waterproof buttonless fob as well with my Inscription, its the only one I use, you can lock in a drivers settings for each normal key, seats settings, mirrors, audio etc set in one key for you and your wife can have her settings locked in the other, the car will then set itself up when you use each key.
Ensure dealer sets up VOC for you and it works when you pick car up. And you have latest software and map update, latest map is version 1230.

Look through everything on this link, there are video's that will be very useful.

It's difficult to know which is which and each is set to the individual's profile with different settings for the seats and dashboard display and default temperature and much more.
What we do here is attach a small keyfob, in my wife's case one of those Pound coin substitute things for supermarket trolleys, to her keyring. That makes both instantly recognisable.

Both have a manual key for emergencies. I had to use it once when my car's battery failed and went completely flat. Hopefully current production has a better battery and my replacement has been perfect. The key usage point is hidden on the end of the passenger door latch, or the driver's side on left hand drive vehicles. You'll probably never have to use it. The actual key is inside the leather covered key fob.
